Contraindicated
- Wilson’s Krankheit.
With caution
- Bei herabgesetzter Gallensekretion, insbesondere bei cholestatischer Lebererkrankung und/oder deutlich verminderter Harnausscheidung sollte Peditrace mit Vorsicht verabreicht werden. Bei einer Behandlungsdauer von über 4 Wochen sollte der Plasmaspiegel der verschiedenen Spurenelemente, vor allem der Manganspiegel, kontrolliert werden. Patienten mit vermehrten Verlusten an Spurenelementen oder Patienten, die eine langfristige parenterale Ernährung benötigen, sollten laborchemisch überwacht werden.
Interaktionen
- Bisher sind keine Interaktionen mit anderen Arzneistoffen beobachtet worden.
Schwangerschaft/Stillzeit
- Peditrace wird ausschliesslich in der Pädiatrie verwendet.
Special
Dosierung
I.v. Inf. über min. 8 h nach Verdünnung von bis 6 ml in 100 ml Glucose 5–50%.
- Kleinkinder >15 kg: 15 ml/Tag.
- Kleinkinder und Säuglinge <15 kg: 1 ml/kg/Tag.
Inkompatibilitäten

Generell sollten Arzneistoffe oder Lösungen, deren Kompatibilität mit Peditrace nicht nachgewiesen wurde, nicht als Mischinfusion mit Peditrace verabreicht werden, vgl. Rubrik «Dosierung/Anwendung».
Besondere Lagerungshinweise

Unter 25 °C lagern. Darf nicht gefrieren. Nur bis zu dem auf der Packung mit «Exp» bezeichneten Datum (Jahr/Monat/Tag) verwenden.
- Nur klare Lösungen und unbeschädigte Ampullen verwenden.
Wirkstoffe: Zinkchlorid, Kupferchlorid, Manganchlorid, Natriumselenit, Natriumfluorid, Kaliumiodid.
Hilfsstoffe: Salzsäure, Wasser für Injektionszwecke.
